Ron started drawing caricatures professionally in 1994. He met Adam Pate in 1997 and started working with him in the Pittsburgh Area. Throughout the years he and Adam built a solid reputation in Pittsburgh. They were seen in the Southside and Strip District at all the major clubs three or four nights a week, as well as major events. Their hard work paid off and took them to places all over the east coast from New York all the way down to Key West Florida, New Orleans, Miami, Orlando, Daytona, Atlanta, Memphis, Louisville and many other places in between..

In 1998 Ron also started marketing himself and started up Mugshotz Caricature Co. Shortly after, he was able to concentrate full time on artwork. In 2002 on Mugshotz's five year anniversary, MugshotzOnline.com was launched and business has been even better than before.

Ron has also donated his time and artistic talent to many charitable organizations he feel strongly about. He has been seen at many charity events, seen regularly at Pittsburgh Penguin games, at all the major colleges and universities in the Tri-State Area, the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium, at Piratefest as well as Pirate Games among many other private and public events. He has entertained throughout the U.S.A. from Portland Oregon to Portland Maine.

Ron has had work published in "The Congressional Daily" "The Pittsburgh Post Gazette" "The Jewish Chronicle" and in Pop Arts Book Co in London, England as well as other publications and numerous web sites including Pittsburghpenguins.com. His artwork can be seen on the walls of many of the restaurants in the Pittsburgh area.

In Fall of 2009, Ron was asked to become an Executive Board Member of the International Society of Caricature Artists. (www.caricature.org) He currently holds the position of Treasurer.
