About Ron

Ron Kantrowitz graduated from Kent State University with a B.A. in Studio Art. He started drawing caricatures professionally in 1994 and teamed up with Adam Pate in 1997. Together they started working in the Pittsburgh area and soon built a solid reputation.  The two were often seen in Pittsburgh's most popular nightclubs three to four nights a week. Their hard work paid off and eventually took them all over the east coast from New York to Key West,FL.

In 2002, Mugshotz's celebrated its five year anniversary and MugshotzOnline.com was launched. Ron has spent many years donating his time and artistic talents to several charitable organizations.  He has been honored to work at high profile charity events, Pittsburgh Penguin games, and Pittsburgh Pirates games. His talent has led him to major colleges and universities across the United States.  He continues to entertain and wow people of all ages in private and public venues.

Ron's artwork has been published in Humor Outcasts books,  The Congressional Daily, The Pittsburgh Post -Gazette, The Jewish  Chronicle and in Pop Arts Book Co in London, England.
